For their first mixtape, Moth Wings takes a much different approach in their songwriting. The band transitions from their usual, powerful rock n’ roll sound to a very toned down, atmospheric sound. Consisting of three tracks, DragonFruit displays Moth Wings with their most honest material. The mixtape strips back the guitars and heavy drums in exchange for beautiful piano arrangements, electronic beats, saxophone and powerful vocal melodies. DragonFruit is a very experimental work of art the band has created, and they ve certainly succeeded in this new transition of sound.
